TBC4 Series Barrel Washing Systems

The TBC4 is available in three configurations. The TBC4A Non-Lees Recovery, and the TBC4B equipped with Lees-Recovery and the TBC4C equipped with an automatic conveyor feed system. All of the machines are high pressure/low volume automated systems designed to work in conjunction with the "Western Square" or similar four barrel pallet. The TBC2 and the TBC4 series are the culmination of 18 years experience designing and building quality cleaning systems for the wine industry.

TBC4 (four barrel washer)

The heart of the system is the high pressure(100psi)/low volume(5 gpm) spray head. Unlike other washing systems our spray head is fixed to the feed head and is motor driven to provide a positive scouring and sheeting action which quickly removes lees and tartrates. The result is a shorter wash cycle, requiring less water and no chemicals.

Our Design Goals

1. Uniform cleaning quality- Accomplished with our unique rotating spray head. Uniform cleaning quality reduces the possibility of degrading wine quality and loss of revenue.

2. Reduced Labor cost.- Accomplished with fully automatic barrel washing system. See Cost Justification. and see how you can save thousands of dollars and improve quality at the same time.

3. Reduced cycle times- Accomplished with 2-5min washing cycle. This can greatly improve production speed.

4. Eliminate manual barrel lifting.- Accomplished by designing machine to work in conjunction with the "Western Square" or similar two barrel pallet and be loaded from either side with a forklift. This also reduces exposure to worker compensation claims.

5. Minimum water usage.- Accomplished with our uniquely designed high pressure(100psi)/low volume(5 gpm) spray head Reducing the cost of water and the problems with disposal.

6. Safe to operate - Accomplished with it's simple to operate control panel. Review the operational sequence here.

7. Easily Transportable- Accomplished by means of rugged fork channels under the machine and screw adjustable legs. Many Wineries house their barrels in several locations, necessitating much lost revenue in transport to and from the wash site. Our machine goes to the barrels.

8. Rugged Construction- Accomplished. All of our machines are constructed of heavy gauge 304 stainless steel and NEMA 4X (corrosion resistant) control box.

9. Easy to Clean- Accomplished. Simply hose machine off and wipe dry. Stays looking like new for years.

10. Low Maintenance- Accomplished with a smart design. There is only 1 part to stock and replace, (it acts as two seals). The machine is virtually maintenance free.

11. Easily fitted into auto conveyors. Accomplished.

12. Cost Justifiable- Accomplished see Cost Justification Page.

We have set and accomplished these design goals based on your High Standards for the Cleanest most cost effective barrel washing system available.

Our Customers tell us We've Succeeded. Most of our customers have been satisfied enough to have acquired multiple units over the years. To our knowledge, all of our Barrel Washing Systems are still at work cleaning barrels.
